Story
We built the brand — 8580 Haus, 8580 being the standard terminology for defining manufacturing processes, a collective of designers creating products in Berlin with a passion for traditional German crafts and values. As a group, we refuse to follow fast trends and fads; instead, we forge our own path, which reflects our unique perspectives with passion, care, and great detail.
My Project
I built a series of lighting objects that utilize the crafts of mental working and fine mechanics. This object performs practical mechanical functions while serving as an iconic statement piece that represents who we are and sparks conversations.
